Established and thriving firm in Maitland seeks to fill position for a Civil Litigation Attorney for First Party Insurance Claims. We are a unique firm that values our clients and staff much like family. Our attorneys enjoy a great deal of autonomy but also receive support and guidance in our litigation style.

The ideal candidate should desire the opportunity to utilize a strong set of ethics while aggressively fighting for the rights of our clients. Required is ability to fluently handle all functions of a case from initial client meeting through to case resolution.

Motion practice and knowledge of litigation procedures required.

Essential functions include client focus, collaboration/team-building skills, communication proficiency, leadership, and problem solving/analysis. Local area and occasional overnight travel is required.

Compensation structure is based upon commission for resolved cases. An agreement would also be put in place for compensation to the attorney for all cases brought into the firm by the attorney.

Requirements

  • MUST be a current member of the Florida Bar.
  • Three years civil litigation experience preferred.
  • Experience with First Party Property Damage preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English helpful but not required.
